The Maple class is one of our Key stage 3 classes. The learners here follow our Discovery pathway. It is part of our upper school.

This week in Maple class..........
We enjoyed our Easter service at St Blazey Church this week. All of Maple class sat and listened superbly and loved singing their Easter song and reading their Easter prayer! We then listened to the Vicar, Chris, who blessed us, and we ate some traditional Easter biscuits. Well done everyone!
We would like to extend a big thank you to the Moorlanders Motorcycle Club for their annual donation of Easter Eggs for our learners' egg hunt. Thank you for your generosity, as always.
To begin Careers Week Maple class enjoyed St Austell Ambulance crew visiting to explain their job roles and how they help people in an emergency. We were taught the basics of CPR and had a try at bandaging our peers. A super look into the role of an ambulance team. Thank you for visiting us!
This week had our first softball session with Wayne and Ellie from Cornwall Cricket. All of the Maple class engaged superbly and absolutely loved it! We started with some catching and throwing and then had a go at batting as well. It was so much fun, and we are already looking forward to the next session!
