Sport Premium is a government funded payment aimed at improving and increasing the provision of Primary PE, sports and physical activity in schools across the country. The amount of money paid is based on the number of primary aged pupils in the school and it is ring-fenced, meaning it has to be spent solely on PE and sport provision to enable primary aged children to develop healthier lifestyles. 

At Doubletrees School, we have utilised this funding and made physical activity and physical experiences an important part of school life. We have invested in resources and staff development to ensure that all learners have the opportunity to get involved in physical activity and develop healthy life styles, benefiting from the funding regardless of their sporting abilities. 

Clear development plans have been put in place and we are closely monitoring the impact of these actions upon the school and our learners.

As a School we are really excited about this funding and the opportunities that will benefit the school and most importantly the learners.
