Parent Wellbeing Hub
At Doubletrees School, we are proud of the work we do to support the wellbeing of every staff member, parent, carer and learner. We aim to develop an enriching and uplifting culture of wellbeing in order to actively promote happiness, positive mental health and emotional wellbeing throughout the school community.
Being a parent is the most rewarding and also the most challenging job that there is. It is the most important position you can hold, but it has no job description or downloadable rule book to which to refer in a time of question, curiosity or crisis.
“There’s no way to be a perfect parent and a million ways to be a good one.” - Jill Churchill
No one has all the answers all the time, and we all need to feel able to reach out to ask for guidance and help when it's needed. For this reason, we have compiled these trusted resources to support you in feeling informed, supported and empowered in the parenting journey and all the challenges that come along with it. Please see the links below for external support.
All parents and carers are warmly invited to our regular Parent Carer Forums which are online and Coffee Mornings in school. Within these we offer talks and workshops led by external specialist speakers and staff within the school.
If you need support and are unsure where to go, you can also contact Michelle, our Family Engagement Lead, who will be happy to listen and point you in the right direction of support.
