In Oak's maths provision we are learning to count to five through one-to-one correspondence and sorting.  Learners explored a sensory tray filled with small objects, Numicon and coloured bowls. Punchers were used to promote fine motor skills. 

In Juniper class, since focusing on core words, we have shown a greater interest in other symbols within our environment. We are particularly fond of looking at the story books which have colourful semantics symbols in. At the moment we are sharing 'Giraffes Can't Dance' and pointing to the character in the book and then the corresponding symbol as we read the book.
